Meet Woody, the Wandering Woodsman!
We spotted this precious boy while we were out trying to trap Dodger. We saw what looked like a mop walking down the road. We pulled over and followed him into the woods. Woody seemed extremely upset that we were following him.
He barked and barked as he climbed straight up a wooded mountain side He was telling us this was his territory and we weren't welcome. We searched for nearby houses that he could belong to, there wasn't any.
We flew back to the rescue for trapping equipment and immediately headed back to the woods to set up. At around 3:30 am, our camera failed so we went to check the trap... He was inside of it and he wasn't happy at all to see us. He tried to scare us away from him, he was so terrified.
We took the trap home with him in it and let him decompress. As soon as he saw the other TiggerTown pups, his entire demeanor changed. He wagged his tail and perked his ears up. We knew then that he wanted to join us. Since the very moment that we opened that trap door, he has been such a sweet loving boy. His gratitude shows and he offers constant tail wags and kisses.
We had an emergency sedation groom done at 9am that same morning. Woody is still a little itchy but we know with time he will continue to heal. We believe he is around 3 or 4 years old. He is good with cats dogs and humans.
This boy is a total sweetheart Woody loves snuggles, laps, pets and company.
We know he's missed out for quite awhile so he has alot of catching up to do in good company
Woody is fully vetted, neutered heart worm negative, current on vaccines and preventions he is microchipped and comes with a special geotag.
