Meet Honey! Aka Hun, Honeygirl, Honeybuns, etc :)
This resilient and loving girl recently joined ELO after being found abandoned in Washington Heights. Despite a tough start, Honey is nothing but sweetness and gratitude, showering everyone she meets with warmth and affection.
Honey does well in a crate. She's spent one week eating her meals and drinking water there and allowed her first foster to reach in and refill water or remove the bowl without any issue. She has been working on her manners with sit, and down and seems like she will be a fast learner. She hasn't had any accidents in her crate and seems like she's already house broken and will communicate when she needs to go out. She is a snuggle bug who really would love a home that can give her time for affection and play.
After switching foster homes to a single pup household, Honey continues to thrive like the Queen she is! She loves nothing more than snuggles on the couch, on the bed, by your side, wherever her human is. She has an amazing appetite and continues to be amazingly house trained. She's great in the elevator and on leash walking around the busy streets of BK, and is super friendly toward other humans, dogs, and children. Truly the sweetest thing - she can also be left alone for a few hours at a time! You'll find her asleep at the door, on the couch, or in her room upon your return - and she'll be thrilled!
Honey lets you clean her sleepy eyes, her paws post-walk, and her chonky snout whenever. She loves to roll over on her back for belly rubs and kisses, and she's the perfect little spoon! Honey is a dream come true who deserves to be spoiled forever :)
