My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Roadsters : Aston, your new best friend!

Are you ready for a dose of charm, sophistication, and a sprinkle of sass? Meet Aston, a 6-7-month-old shepherd mix who’s ready to find his forever home just in time for the holidays! We estimate he will be 45-50 pounds when fully grown.

If Aston were human, he’d be the type to rock sweater vests and spend evenings in his leather-bound library, sipping tea and pondering life’s mysteries. His hobbies include napping in sunny spots and silently (but lovingly!) judging your life choices. Though his expression may look perpetually unimpressed, don’t be fooled—he’s a happy, affectionate boy who’s ready to shower you with love.

Aston’s highlights:
 • Adorable features: Those ears are his crowning glory.
 • Kid & pet friendly: Gets along wonderfully with children, other dogs, and even seems cat-compatible.
 • Well-mannered: Housebroken and crate trained—ready to settle in seamlessly.
 • Playful spirit: Loves his toys and can’t wait to share them with you.

Aston is looking for a loving family to call his own. If you’re ready to welcome this charming, sunshine-loving pup into your home, don’t wait—adopt Aston today and make this holiday season unforgettable!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Thank you for adopting and not buying!!! Every week hundreds of highly adoptabledogs are put to death by local shelters. Most people would be amazed at the purebred and beautiful dogs available, if they walked into their neighborhood shelter.

Rescue organizations, like mine, work hard to save as many as we possibly can but is a never ending process with breeders and Puppy Mills selling unhealthy animals to the public. If you EVER saw a puppy mill you would NEVER buy again!

All of my dogs are neutered or spayed, vet checked, completely vaccinated, wormed, groomed and checked for heart worms. They are all are current on Heart worm medicine, flea, and tick medications. They are all microchipped as well.

Adoption fee is $300 to $350 (older "friends' can be less, please inquire. Puppies are $350 - Besides fully vetting all dogs, some of of the dogs I rescue, 1 in 5 I rescue have heart worms which is very expensive to treat. I also take in dogs who need surgeries and are close to death.

More about this rescue

About us: Cody was the first pet I owned as an adult. He was a Shih Tzu that I bought unknowingly, from a Puppy Mill. He fought for his life and barely survived, suffering for the first few months of his life. From then on I was stirred by a ferocious passion to save as many dogs as I could through networking with other rescue groups and saving the ones I could off of cold streets and unwanted in shelters. Cody did not live a very long life due to a weakened body, but I was able to love on him for eight good years! He will always be loved and forever remembered. With over 400 dogs rescued so far, we ARE making a difference!!
Thank you for visiting and considering a rescue........................
