Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ranger is ready for a running partner! This very active, friendly as can be 20 mo old, 63lb boy would be the ultimate exercise partner! He loves to get out and explore everything around him. He is a happy, silly boy so he may try to stop and greet new people when you’re on a walk. When you’re talking to him, he will go into a play bow, thinking he can distract you from calling him to come inside. He’s so goofy! It’s so hard to believe he hasn’t yet found his own, forever home! He has lived in a shelter like environment for literally half his young life so far, so he desperately deserves a home of his own. He’s absolutely wonderful with other dogs so another large, playful, friendly dog in the home would be best. He must also have a large dog experienced person that will continue his training. Ranger is very affectionate so someone that is ok with lots of cuddles is also a must. He is crate trained and can be left home line for up to 6 hrs without a potty break. He must have a 5ft or higher securely fenced yard.

Their adoption process
Additional adoption info
Interested adopters should email info@k9rr.org to request an application. Once complete, the application can be returned via email and quickly reviewed. If approved, we then invite potential adopters to visit with one or more of the dogs that interest them. If the meet and greet goes well, we encourage a week long "trial adoption" to ensure a good match. During that week we communicate often and are available for support and guidance, via phone or email, 24/7.
Unless otherwise specified, K9 R&R adoption fees range from $350-$500 and include all vetting and microchip. We also provide ongoing training tips and help as needed, for the life of the dogs.
K9 R&R is a non-profit, volunteer based organization.

More about this rescue
K9 R&R rescues dogs from shelters and other various facilities across the nation, but focusing primarily on those throughout the west coast. In addition, we help re-home family pets of owners who can no longer care for them. K9 R&R assesses and works with every dog prior to adopting them out and continues to provide support to adopters for the entire life of the dog. K9 Rescue & Rehab was founded with the desire to provide a more thorough, inclusive, supportive approach to dog rescue and re-homing. When adopting a K9 R&R dog, you are not only adding a new family member, but are becoming part of an extended family that is always there to support you in hard times and celebrate with you in joyful ones.
