Meet Spud!

Spud was going to be euth because after being hit by a car it was discovered he had a broken front leg with potential radial nerve damage.

RR stepped up and with help from Dog Is My Pilot funded by Petco And our trusty Keith and Martha he was delivered to our amazing vet who have waved their magic wand and not only set his leg but waited to let the neuro damage show enough improvement that it did not have to be amputated.

Now he is ready to go to his foster or forever home. The clinic gives him ***** stars for being perfect in every way!

Russell Rescue is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) dog rescue organization. It was started in 2008 by Mary Ruth Rogers of Columbia, TN. Our mission is to save and re-home unloved, abandoned and abused dogs, especially the Jack Russell terrier. Most of our dogs come from high kill shelters in Tennessee, and other nearby states.
