Strawberries, blueberries, apples, oranges....say hi to Mr. Grapes! He's 5 years old and full of spunk. He enjoys ALL treats and would love it if you hand fed them to him all day. Mr. Grapes is full on cuddle bug and is happy to follow you around the apartment. He'll pose for you with his tongue out to give him the perfect silly look. When he's not nudging you for a cuddle or a belly rub, he's in a full on sploot - his preferred method of laying. Mr. Grapes also wanted me to let you know that he is #1 in fetch. He brings the ball back to you 100% of the time, ready for the next throw. Mr. Grapes would be a great fit for an active, structured household who will continue with his training and doesn't mind a Grade A snuggler!
Mr. Grapes is fully house trained and crate trained. He has been working on his loose-leash walking skills with a transitional leash. He is best at the command "sit" and "crate", but is also working on "wait", "free", and "gentle". He is working on his pulling towards other dogs & crying/whining. We are actively working on Mr. Grapes being neutral towards other dogs on walks, especially smaller dogs. He does not bark in the apartment even when he hears his human friends outside the door.
