Hello, future friend! I’m Hosu, a sweet and charming Boston Terrier with a heart full of love. My adventure began in 2021 when I was rescued from a private shelter. Before that, I spent some time at Byeokgang Shelter, where I was well taken care of, but when the shelter director sadly passed away, I needed a new place to call home. Thankfully, the wonderful folks at Animal Freedom Union came to my rescue, and now I’m excited to meet you!
🐶Personality🐶
I have a friendly and affectionate personality. I love meeting new people and often greet them with happy wiggles and snuggles. While I haven’t had the chance to meet many young children yet, I’m curious and would love to get to know them. Once we become friends, I’ll happily show you my belly for some extra love—there’s nothing quite like a good scratch! And yes, you can lift me up for hugs anytime!
👫My Social Side❤️
When it comes to my doggy friends, I enjoy saying hello during introductions, but I prefer to keep things friendly rather than jumping into play. While I might not show much interest in other dogs, I can be a bit cautious, especially if they get too rowdy. A gentle approach is always appreciated! But generally I am not interested in other dog but I find comfort in being around other dogs, so if you another dog, I could feel more comfortable. I haven’t met cat friends yet.
🔋My Energy Level & Walks🚶
I’m an adventurous little explorer who loves to sniff around during walks. I may occasionally tug on the leash, but I really enjoy following my human’s lead. Just a friendly reminder—when we’re outside, it’s a good idea to keep an eye on me so I don’t pick up anything I shouldn’t. After our outdoor fun, I’m ready to curl up for a cozy nap. There’s nothing quite like resting after an adventure!

I don’t guard my food from people, but I appreciate having my own space during mealtime, especially if other dogs are nearby. I have a hearty appetite, so a little care during meals would be wonderful. I also feel so sad when I left alone, so having a loving family around would really help me feel secure. Also I will speak up when I want something so you can know! Your understanding and patience will mean the world to me.
I’m seeking a caring and understanding family who recognizes that I may need a bit of time to adapt to my new environment. With your love and encouragement, I believe I’ll flourish into the amazing companion I aspire to be.
