Ricky Bobby was a stray picked up by a small town shelter and was on "the list" before we were able to intervene and bring him into TGPR. And what a sweetheart he is! So calm and loving, a really wonderful boy! Ricky Bobby has the dreamiest eyes and his personality follows suit, a real pyr with all the characteristics of the breed, loyal, intelligent, playful, easy going. Ricky Bobby is currently being loved by his fosters in the Austin area and is ready for his forever home!

TGPR is a 501.c.3 organization dedicated to the protection and rescue of Great Pyrenees in Texas and surrounding areas.

TGPR helps Great Pyrenees that are considered at-risk for physical/mental injury, cruelty and abandonment and that may be subject to euthanasia and inhumane treatment.

We have Great Pyrenees of all different ages. We want to find just the right Pyr for you. We also adopt out of state, so don't hesitate if you aren't in Texas!
