Beautiful Miss Mya is looking for her forever home! This amazing girl is under a year old and is just the sweetest thing!
Mya loves her walks, her toys, and loves people!
Mya is extremely smart and loves showing off with all her commands. Mya would do best in a home with prior/similar breed experience because this girl needs a job to do and someone who understands her shepie personality!
Mya would thrive in a home with an older canine companion who can show her the ropes!
Mya is UTD on her vaccinations, microchipped, and will be spayed.

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters over 21 years of age must first fill out an application for adoption. It takes at least 7-10 business days for application to be processed. Vet checks are done as well as references, and home checks.
Our Cat adoption fees are:
$215for Kittens (6wks-6Months)
$170 for Adults (7Months - 7yrs)
$95 for Senior/Special Needs

Our Dog adoption fees are:
$395 for Puppies (8wks-15Months)
$295 for Adults (16Months-10yrs)
$125 for Senior/Special Needs

All donations may be dropped off in the Front Lobby Daily between the hours of 9am-5pm.

We believe it is our moral responsibility to protect and improve the lives of abused, abandoned, and homeless cats and dogs, and to place them in loving permanent homes.

We provide spay and neuter services and any and all necessary medical care for pets.

We work diligently to educate the public on the importance of pet sterilization, responsible pet ownership, Disease control, as well as the Humane Treatment of Animals.

The Meriden Humane Society is a Private, No Kill, non Profit Animal Shelter and Rescue Facility.We are not affiliated with any other Humane Society or rescue organization. We do NOT receive any funding the state, but in fact are funded by the generous people who believe that "Life Matters".
