My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Franny is a very special girl. She has gone through quite a bit in her life and has the emotional baggage to prove it. Regardless, Fran has so much love to give. She is extremely well behaved; Potty trained, command trained, leash trained. Franny love a car ride or a pool day. She is a great running partner, but is also happy to go for a long walk. Once it's time to settle down she'r right there next to you ready for some belly rubs. Franny is looking for an adopter who is willing to work with her, see past her emotional scars and love her as much as she will love you. If you're looking for a girl who is just as chaotic and absolutely unhinged as you are.... Fran is your girl!

Approve Application

Adopters application will either get approved or denied based on the pets needs.

2.
Meet the Pet

Adoption interview and a meet and greet happen at the same time.

3.
Home Check

If meet and greet/ interview go well, we will do a home check to ensure the pet is safe.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

Once adoption contract is signed and fee is paid, the pet has officially been adopted!

Southside Strays adopts dogs out as indoor companions, not as outdoor guard dogs. Most of the pets that come through our door had either been abandoned or spent way too long wandering the streets. It's their turn to enjoy the life of a spoiled bed-hog! We do require home checks before the adoption process is complete to ensure our dogs are going to a safe home.
