Her name is Star Now that she's all healed up from her spay surgery, we're curious who will be the lucky person to adopt this cuddly, affectionate young superstar. Star has flame point siamese coloring and a flat lil nose. Big blue eyes, too! She is dog, kid and cat friendly.

Visit our website to submit an adoption application and you'll receive a reply by email with details about the pet you'd like to meet!

Meet the Pet

We arrange meet and greets by appointment in our foster's homes or virtually via zoom or at a convenient location to make sure it's a match

Take the Pet Home

Please come prepared to bring home your new pet. We'll handle the adoption fee and email you medical records, then follow up as needed

We're also here to help you navigate any issues that come up, help with training tips or refer you to a trusted trainer in your area

WCAL is based in Calistoga and our foster homes are located throughout Napa and Sonoma County (we have no shelter or facility). More about this rescue

WCAL leads the no kill philosophy in Napa County. Saving lives by transporting adoptable animals from high-risk area shelters and placing them in loving foster homes or with partner rescue organizations that share our values. We fund no-cost spay/neuter programs in upper Napa Valley and in Lake County to decrease the number of unwanted animals born in our area. WCAL also provides one-time emergency financial assistance to animals in life-threatening situations whose owners are facing sudden hardship. Assisting with all things animal related in the Upper Napa Valley and surrounding areas.
