My name is Nacho!

Nacho is an estimated 4 year old chihuahua mix. He was a stray who I rescued in June 2021. With me, Nacho has grown to a healthy 16 pounds, he is neutered, microchipped, up to date on his shots. He is cuddly, loyal and protective. He needs an experienced chihuahua mama or papa. He got used to me being the only human he interacted with during the COVID pandemic, and after the pandemic I moved cross country and changed homes 3 times with with poor Nacho. He's been a real trooper, but I can tell that the changes are taking a toll on him. He needs a stable home and regular boundaries and training that I cannot provide for him. I move annually for work. Also, his behavior improves when I'm not around - he has an unhealthy over-protectiveness of me and he is more attentive to commands from his dog sitters than from me and even though he has made a lot of progress with me, he would do better with a fresh start with a permanent home/family to live a less hectic life.
