My name is Murph!

We took in Murph as a favor to a friend who couldn’t keep him anymore. We didn’t intend to keep him as long as we have.
He has been great with our two little kids (6 yo, 3yo) and likes to wrestle and play chase with our Blue-healer. He can be shy around new people but when he warms up, he can be very affectionate.
The reason we are needing to rehome Murph is that our 14 year old Husky doesn’t do well with cats. We have tried for a couple years at this point to make it work thinking that as both animals got older and used to each other, they would get along. We were wrong. Unfortunately, we feel it is not safe for Murph and it is unfair to both pets to have to be constantly segregated in the house or heavily supervised. We will be sad to see him go but we feel it’s in the best interest for everyone.
