NINTENDO is an all-black short-haired male kitten with an energetic and charming personality. He sports a subtle white patch on his neck, along with striking white eyebrows and whiskers that create a delightful contrast against his sleek black fur. Nintendo is the most chatty and talkative kitten in his litter, always adventurous and eager to explore. He has strong opinions about his surroundings, especially when it comes to his foster family's dog, whom he doesn’t quite like and will not hesitate to tell her. He follows the resident cats around, making his presence known and engaging in play. Energetic and spirited, he’s also happy to curl up and snuggle with his foster family's child. Nintendo and his siblings were lovingly surrendered to CRAN when their owner found it difficult to care for all 7 kittens. Now he is ready to find his forever home, where his playful, chatty and affectionate personality can shine through.

NINTENDO has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. You can meet NINTENDO at the cattery inside our partner PetSmart in South Eugene (2858 Willamette St). The $175 ($320/2 kittens) adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. Additional adoption info

All potential adopters are required to complete our application and contract. Our contract stipulates the requirements for care of our pets. These documents are available through e-mail or at our adoption events. The documents are reviewed by our staff and together with a face to face interview we explore the potential new home. If all parties agree to the specifics of the contract the dog or cat can go home. Adoption fee varies with age of pet.
All pets are current on vaccinations, health checked by our veterinarian, De-wormed, treated with flea medication, spayed or neutered, and cats are felv/fiv tested.

Go meet their pets

Our cats can be seen at Petsmart on Chad Drive and on Willamette St, at Petco near Valley River Center and Wags Emporium on Coburg Rd, seven days a week during normal business hours. We do have adoption counselors available on weekends or by appointment or from 12:30-2:30pm, Sat.-Sun.

More about this rescue

Our mission is to provide care and find loving homes for cats and kittens of our community, with a focus on those with special needs. Currently we only work with Cats. We offer temporary housing in foster homes until they can be placed through our adoption process. We have adoption centers within both Petsmarts in Eugene, at Chad Drive, near Costco, and 29th and Willamette; PetCo by Valley River Center and Wags Dog Emporium on Coburg Rd. Cat Rescue & Adoption Network works with humane societies, other animal rescue groups, the public and government animal services agencies to offer them relief from their overpopulation problem. All cats in our custody receive the medical care they need. Cat Rescue & Adoption Network is a non-profit organization. All money raised is used to help Cat Rescue & Adoption Network save as many animal lives as possible.
