Playful and extremely affectionate, SEGA GENESIS is excited to find his own forever home. He is a handsome male kitten with a soft, silky black coat. He adores spending time with people as well as playing with his siblings. He thrives on social interaction and is quick to warm up to new situations and humans. He enjoys interactive toys, but one of his favorite pastimes is cuddling up on a lap for snuggles. Sega Genesis was brought to our cat rescue with his 6 siblings when his owner was no longer able to care for them. He was the smallest of the group, but now he is strong and healthy, ready for new adventures. As an active, young kitten, it's important that Sega Genesis be adopted into a home with another kitten or playful young cat. With just the right balance of playfulness and cuddliness, Sega Genesis is sure to win you over.

SEGA GENESIS has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. You can meet SEGA GENESIS at the cattery inside our partner PetSmart in South Eugene (2858 Willamette St). All potential adopters are required to complete our application and contract. Our contract stipulates the requirements for care of our pets. These documents are available through e-mail or at our adoption events. The documents are reviewed by our staff and together with a face to face interview we explore the potential new home. If all parties agree to the specifics of the contract the dog or cat can go home. Adoption fee varies with age of pet.
All pets are current on vaccinations, health checked by our veterinarian, De-wormed, treated with flea medication, spayed or neutered, and cats are felv/fiv tested.

Go meet their pets

Our cats can be seen at Petsmart on Chad Drive and on Willamette St, at Petco near Valley River Center and Wags Emporium on Coburg Rd, seven days a week during normal business hours. We do have adoption counselors available on weekends or by appointment or from 12:30-2:30pm, Sat.-Sun.

More about this rescue

Our mission is to provide care and find loving homes for cats and kittens of our community, with a focus on those with special needs. Currently we only work with Cats. We offer temporary housing in foster homes until they can be placed through our adoption process. We have adoption centers within both Petsmarts in Eugene, at Chad Drive, near Costco, and 29th and Willamette; PetCo by Valley River Center and Wags Dog Emporium on Coburg Rd. Cat Rescue & Adoption Network works with humane societies, other animal rescue groups, the public and government animal services agencies to offer them relief from their overpopulation problem. All cats in our custody receive the medical care they need. Cat Rescue & Adoption Network is a non-profit organization. All money raised is used to help Cat Rescue & Adoption Network save as many animal lives as possible.
