My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

How this pet arrived:
This pet was brought in by our Humane Law Enforcement.

Why this pet is the one for you:
Teef is a beauty with her strong, commanding presence but with a warm soft heart inside. Teef is easily leashed and is a good walker both in crowded and non-crowded areas. She does not get distracted as she stays close to her person. Teef takes her protector side very seriously as she wants to make sure that all is safe and OK with her people. But, she also has a fun loving side as she is always up for a game of fetch and rolls over for belly rubs. Strong and sweet describe Teef.
She will want lots of grooming as her long, thick coat will need it. She will want indoor and outdoor space for exploring. Most of all, she will want a caring home with good people whom she can love and protect. Sound good to you? If so, come to our campus and ask to meet the strong and sweet Teef.

At SDHS:
Teef has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed/neutered and is now ready for her new home!

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
