Hi! I am Susie and I am about a year and a half old and about 13 pounds. My foster mom thinks I am a Chi mix. I love other dogs but need a bit of time to warm up to them. I have three foster pup siblings two small and one big and I love them all! I also have a human sister and she is great I love her too! My foster mom has trained me to go potty outside and I go to the door when I have to go, sometimes I have an accident but that is mostly my mom’s fault as she doesn’t get to the door quick enough! I love to play and when I am worn out I sleep in my mom’s lap. I sleep through the night quietly in my kennel or my mom’s bed if she lets me! I am kenneled during the day and I am very quiet and mostly sleep but like to be let out after 6 hours or so. My mom says I hold it ok but I am still a bit young! I love to eat and sometimes eat my siblings food but if mom tells me no I listen like a good girl but might need more than one reminder :). I also love to go on walks and walk pretty good on a leash! I would love to meet you and I know you would love me!!!

**Note on breed and age determination: 

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners.  Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.

ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES:

• Wellness check
• Spay/neuter (puppies adopted with required spay/neuter certificate)
• Age appropriate vaccines - rabies and distemper combo 
• Heartworm test if over 7 months of age
• Fecal test and/or deworming for parasites
• Microchip ​

~ Healing Hearts rescue will also provide dental procedures, bloodwork, surgeries, and/or any other additional vet work as needed while dogs are in our care.
