Meet Sweet Caroline, a beautiful Russian Blue mix with a soft gray coat and big, expressive green eyes. Life hasn’t always been easy for Caroline; she started out as a stray, braving the world on her own. But she’s finally safe now and learning what it feels like to be loved.

Caroline is still adjusting to life indoors, but every day, she shows a little more of her gentle, affectionate side. She may be a bit shy at first, but with patience and kindness, she’s starting to trust and let her sweet personality shine through.

She dreams of a calm, loving home where she can finally feel secure—a place with a cozy spot to curl up in and a warm lap to call her own. Sweet Caroline is ready to give her heart to someone who’ll love her unconditionally. Are you ready to be her forever family?

All of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.

ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location.

Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. We understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.

Once your application is approved you will be contacted by the rescue and discuss the dog you are interested in and transportation.

Adoptions include spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, health certificate and transportation.

Puppies under 6 months: $350
Dogs over 6 months: $300

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

Mission Statement
To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
