My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Marley!

Can you believe this adorable girl was found as a stray on the North Shore and was never claimed? Marley is understandably stressed after all these big changes, and enjoyed some TLC 24/7 while in a foster home (she is now currently housed at the shelter)

Marley's past is of course a mystery, but there are a few things we are confident about. Marley has so much potential to be an amazing companion to whoever scoops her up, she is already starting to come out of her shell and show her true colours. She is fearful and takes time to warm up to you, but you can see in her body language that despite it all, she's curious about people and about getting cuddles. Every day she is more curious about her foster mom and getting pets, and we feel in the right home she's going to really thrive.

Marley would like a quiet home that doesn't have a ton of visitors coming and going. She may do well in a home with another outgoing cat given a slow and proper introduction, but we feel she would be afraid to live with a dog. She likes predictability and someone with slow and soft energy. For this reason Marley should live in an adult only home as well.

Being so young, we're so excited to watch Marley grow in confidence in her forever home. We know someone special is going to notice this sweetheart and not shy away at a nervous cat that will grow to be a loving companion. If you think you might be that special person, fill out an application through our website or come into the branch so we can learn more about you!
