Meet Jack: The Resilient Brother!

Jack is a 2-year-old shepherd mix with a heart full of love and a spirit that refuses to be broken. Weighing about 45 lbs, Jack has a striking tricolor coat of brown, black, and white that complements his charming personality.

Jack's journey hasn’t been easy; he was found tangled in barbed wire, which led to the amputation of his tail. Despite this challenge, Jack remains a joyful and affectionate companion, ready to embrace a new life. He is friendly with kids, dogs, and even cats, making him the perfect addition to any family.

Currently, Jack is in a shelter in Charleston, WV. Once adopted, Sunny Bear Rescue will work diligently to get him out of the shelter and into your loving home. Fully vaccinated, altered, and house-trained, Jack is eager to find his forever family. While he and his brother Daniel share a special bond, adopting them together is not required but recommend. Jack hopes to meet someone who will love him for who he is—a resilient spirit ready for new adventures!
