My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please contact the Cat Team (catapplications@graspinc.org) for more information about this pet.

DOB:  07/30/24

Mike & Ike are sweet like their candy namesakes and full of personality. They're super loving, especially with each other, which is why they would like to be adopted together. They are great at keeping each other entertained with toys, wrestling, and other silly kitten nonsense. When they've tired themselves out, they enjoy a cuddle puddle on the couch.

Mike is the goofiest goober. He loves puff ball toys, drinking water from the faucet, and keeping his brother from napping because he wants to play. He likes to explore, run, and climb but will let his foster parents know when he wants some love. He'll give a head butt for scratches or flop over for full body pets, showing his appreciation by making biscuits.

Ike is the cuddle bug of the two. Whether his foster parents are sitting on the couch or the toilet, he wants to be on their lap. He shows his enthusiasm by running full speed, launching himself into their lap, and flopping over for prime cuddles and pets. He also likes to be held and will let his foster mom carry him all over the house (until he hears Mike say it's time to play!).

Mike & Ike are curious but respectful of the resident cats in their foster home. They like to play and love on the resident cats if they can, but also understand their boundaries. They would likely do well with dogs with the right introduction. They have not met any children, but would likely do well with respectful children of all ages.

This cat has been combo-tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, received all age-appropriate vaccinations and is altered.

More about this rescue

G.R.A.S.P. stands for Greece Residents Assisting Stray Pets. GRASP's goal is to give animals, primarily those picked up by Greece Animal Control, a second chance for a safe, happy, and healthy life. Before G.R.A.S.P., Inc. was formed, animals that were not claimed by their owners were routinely euthanized. We also strive to educate the public on the benefits of spay/neuter and the need to tag their pets at all times. G.R.A.S.P., Inc. is a non-profit organization and is completely dependent upon donations from the public.
