My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The SSPCA says I am a 9yr old Australian Shepherd mix, but I think I’m a lap dog.

I can sit, lie down, give paw. I’m practicing leash skills, crate training, leave it, and working on my separation anxiety. Sometimes I have accidents, but only because the humans are still trying to learn my signals.

I am very energetic, but I also like cuddles and try to sit in my foster mom’s lap. I love my walks, squeaky toys, playing ball and bully sticks, and really want to play with my friends, but they are a lot smaller than me.

I need someone who can be patient with me and keep working with me. I play hard, so I need a friend who likes to play. I’m ok being be an only dog, if I have good human interaction. Oh, I chase cats. I love humans, but I’m too big and excited to be around babies and little kids; and older adults.

I have a 42 inch, folding crate, mattress, toys, dishes, training clicker and treat bag, leash and harness.

I really am a good girl. I just need a stable home.
