Hi there! My name is Cosmo and I'm a 3 year old Chihuahua boy who came into the shelter in September! My new friends are still getting to know me more, but so far they know that I love yummy treats and cuddling with friends. I'm a little nervous at first, but once I get to know you I want to be your best friend! The San Gabriel Valley Humane Society (SGVHS) was founded by Fannie Thompson Kessler in 1924.

For almost 100 years, the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society has provided a variety of services to the local communities. Currently we serve the cities of San Gabriel, Temple City and Duarte.

We provide food, shelter and medical care to hundreds of dogs and cats who are stray and homeless, or have been rescued from abusive conditions or relinquished by their owners.
