Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
So Alexa is a beautiful dog inside and out. She was my father in law's dog from Puerto Rico who recently passed away. We had to bring her to NJ to give her a better life. She is a gentle giant as long as you do not have cats or squirrels. We are working on potty training her and is getting better with going outside to do her business more regularly
The bad: Alexa has heartworms, hook worms and ring worms. She has good days on the medications and bad days where she does not not want to eat. Sometimes she vomits from the antibiotics. At the beginning of January, she should be done with the hard part of the treatment. We would need someone who is patient with her, able to administer medication creativity, and take her to visits at her vet in the Heights.
We will be continuing to pay for the medical expenses associated with heart worm treatment, just unfortunately cannot continue to have her in our small apartment fixated on my toddler. We also hired a trainer.
