My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!

I am a sweet, shy, older gal, looking for the perfect forever home!

I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.

I'm sensitive and shy. I'll need extra help from you.

I am looking for a home with a patient person.

I will flourish in a calm environment and a low-traffic home.

I am finding the shelter a little overwhelming, but when it's just you and me and some peace and quiet you'll see what a love bug I am.

A volunteer writes: The first time I met Musha, I thought she was trying her best to look out the window. As she sat at the front of her condo, presumably in hopes of obtaining the best view, I quickly realized that she was really looking at the door. Musha really wants to catch the moment her forever family walks in because she wants to hand them her heart. She's ready to leave shelter life behind especially since she's the type to prefer a quieter environment. Even so, she certainly likes to stay ready. Musha happily leans into pets, but hasn't been easily dissuaded from her door duties by toys. Neck scritches, however, are her thing and a happy distraction from waiting. Stretching herself into a kitty loaf like shape, Musha reached out her little paws and leaned her head into my hand. She's cuddly, good natured and ready to shine with a patient forever family who understands that sometimes making new friends takes time, but is always worth it.
