Abbott is a quiet senior chi/terrier mix who is looking to join the small dog pack of an experienced adopter. He is still learning that humans are friends, as he doesn’t seem to have much experience living around people but seems willing to give them a chance. He gains comfort and confidence from being around other small dogs and enjoys snuggling and hanging out with other dogs of similar size.
With his friends’ influence, he will learn that humans are nice, pets are comforting, and treats are delicious! Abbott will need access to a secure yard as he doesn’t currently walk on leash and will need time to acclimate to his new home and be able to do his business outside before he begins learning leash walking skills.
