Hello, future friend! I’m Hodi, a sweet and spunky Boston Terrier with a heart full of love.
My adventure began in 2021 when I was rescued from a private shelter. Before that, I lived at Byeokgang Shelter, where I was well cared for, but when the shelter director sadly passed away, I needed a new place to call home. Thankfully, the amazing folks at Animal Freedom Union came to my rescue, and now I’m excited to meet you!
🐶Personality🐶
I have a friendly and affectionate personality. I love meeting new people and often greet them with wiggles and cuddles. Although I haven’t had the chance to meet many children yet, I’m curious about them! Once we become friends, I’ll show you my belly for some extra love—there’s nothing quite like a good scratch. Also you can lift me and hug me as much as you want!

When it comes to my doggy friends, I can be a bit cautious when meeting new dogs, so a gentle introduction is always nice. I think I’d prefer to be the only dog in my new home, as I enjoy being the center of attention.
🔋My Energy Level & Walks🚶
I’m a curious explorer who enjoys sniffing my way through walks. I may tug on the leash from time to time, but I mostly love to follow my human’s lead. However, when we’re outside, it’s good to keep an eye on me to make sure I don’t pick up anything that doesn’t belong to me. After some outdoor fun, I’m ready to curl up and relax—nothing beats a cozy nap!

While I don’t guard my food from people, I do like my space during mealtime, especially if another dog is around. Just a heads up—I do have a big appetite, so a little care during mealtime is appreciated. I also have a special treat for you: I love to catch treats when you toss them my way! It’s one of my favorite games. I can be a bit too sad when left alone, so I’d love a family that can spend lots of time with me. I’ll also speak up when I want something to let you know!
I’m looking for a loving and patient family who understands that I may need a little time to adjust to my new surroundings. With your kindness and support, I know I’ll blossom into the wonderful companion I aspire to be.

We strongly recommend you to welcome your adopted dog at the airport on their arrival day. The dog is handed over to the adopter at the airport along with medical document and microchip information.All of our dogs’ vaccinations are up to date: rabies, DHPPL (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza, Leptospirosis), Coronavirus, Canine influenza and Bordetella (kennel cough)
All dogs are spayed/neutered, unless otherwise indicated, and microchipped
All dogs are tested for 4DX (heartworm), parvo, corona, distemper and giardia
All dogs receive monthly heartworm/flea/tick prevention.
