My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This pretty girl is EmmyLou, a lab/husky mix born approximately August 30. EmmyLou was part of an accidental litter that often happens when owners do not spay/neuter their pets, then the owners reach out to Critter Cavalry for help.  But at least EmmyLou was lucky enough to be born into a home where she was cared for and loved on from the beginning.  Once they were old enough to leave their mom, EmmyLou and her siblings were split up into separate foster homes in pairs, where they are enjoying the good life while getting ready for their forever families. Emmylou is a very social puppy who loves people and other dogs.  She has not been around cats but we think she would do fine. Her beautiful coloring and one partially blue eye make her truly unique.  We expect her adult weight to be in the 50 pound range.  Emmy Lou is just waiting for you to realize that she is what is missing from your life!  If you are interested in this little beauty queen that will be ready around Thanksgiving please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com. Please be sure to mention the city and state that you live in. We adopt to not only the Tennessee area where we are based and the puppies are fostered, but also to the Northeastern region that we transport to.

PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com

Most all our dogs are fostered in Tennessee and transport up to the Northeast or New England. Our fees start at $500 and can be higher depending on the dog and circumstances for their vetting. Adoption application

Go meet their pets

We are a full volunteer rescue organization. All of our animals are kept in loving foster homes, receiving the best care possible. A completed application must be submitted and approved to meet with our dogs/pups. A completed application helps us determine compatibility and also helps us to ensure a successful adoption.
