- Super sweet boy who LOVES cuddles and playing fetch
- Enjoys going on walks and does best with a harness; has a bit of energy so he'd be a great walking or hiking buddy if you're looking for that!
- Smart guy who already knows sit
- Recently went on a Dog's Day Out field trip and loved going on walks, hikes, and car rides before taking a little nap; his human companion described him as "very friendly and loving"
- Young kiddos may be too much for him, so he's looking for a teens-and-up home right now
- Tends to be uncomfortable and socially awkward with other dogs and may prefer to be the only dog in his new home; because of this he may also not be an ideal candidate for dog parks and similar spaces (dog intro required)
All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)
The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
