Marley has joined our rescue, but no fault of her own. Sadly her owner passed away unexpectedly on 11/3/2024 with no other family members to take her in and here she is with us.
Marley is such a wonderful dog! She is an older gal and will be turning 11 years old in January, 2025. We have spoken with her vet and have been told that Marley is in good health for her age! Her owner had taken very good care of her and had her to the vets regularly for checkups, bloodwork and vaccines.
According to Marley's medical paperwork, she is listed as a lab mix weighing 71 lbs. Based on her looks, we are guessing she has some shepherd in her as well. This sweet girl has done great in meeting other house dogs along with the cats. She also has done great with the grandchildren of her foster family.
We would love to find Marley a wonderful forever home where she can live out the remainder of her senior years. If you are looking to add a calm, sweet and older dog to your household, please consider Marley!
Marley is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccines, fecal test, and preventative. Her adoption fee is $250.
If you are interested in adopting Marley, please submit an application on our website at https://worthytails.rescuegroups.org. For any questions you may have, please send an email to jessie.wilson@comcast.net.

Worthy Tails is a non profit, all-volunteer animal foster and adoption organization. Our mission is to help animals that did not ask to be born, and are often subjected to inhumane conditions and treatment, to find loving homes. The members of our organization believe that any animal, no matter how large or small, young or old, beautiful or "only a face a mother can love" can offer unconditional love and companionship to the right person, couple, or family.
Worthy Tails is not an animal shelter. All animals live in our approved foster homes until permanent, indoor homes can be found.
