My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Young Freckles was named for his dappled coat, which doesn’t hint at his lovely black and white face and ears. Brought up in a communal kennel, he’s still a bit over-protective of his tucker around other dogs, although he’ll let his foster-dad play a gentle game of ‘chewie-tug’ very happily and politely let go when asked.
Outdoors he cheerful and easy-going, playing nicely with his foster-brother, and staying calm and happy when meeting people, kids and dogs on trips into town. At home he quickly discovered the art of the cuddle, and is reveling in practicing his inborn couch potato skills undisturbed by a kennel full of other hounds.
Living in a home with another well-adjusted dog is teaching him to be more relaxed, and like all dogs, Freckles is happiest with a clear understanding that his main objective is to be a contented pet, not a guardian of kibble.

He will be happiest in an active home with a fenced yard.
