Alexander McQueen might be the sweetest boy we've ever met. He just loves people and wants to be pet, held, loved and snuggled as much as possible. He loves hanging out with other cats and to help you work if you work from home (you only need one hand to type right??). He's very affectionate and gentle and loves to be carried around like a baby. He will instantly fall asleep on you if you place him on your lap or chest. He's very easy going and will be a good fit for any house! He naps hard and plays harder, being active and loving playtime.

Their adoption process

1.
Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

We are unable to do meet and greets without an appointment. But you can go online to see available cats as well as in-store.

2.
Submit Application

While the stores do stock paper applications, we recommend filling out our online form as this e-mails us right away.

3.
Interview

An adoption coordinator will reach out within 3 business days to you to discuss your application and answer any questions.

4.
Meet the Pet

Our adoption coordinater will schedule a meet & greet once the application is approved. We do not accept walk-ins except at events.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

If, at the meet and greet, you decide the cat is a match, you will be able to sign paperwork then and there to adopt the animal.

6.
Pay Fee

Our adoption fees are $175 per animal. We accept cash and credit card. There is a $8.31 processing fee for credit cards ($183.31)

7.
Take the Pet Home

That's it! You will need to leave PetSmart with the cat in a carrier per their policies but you can take them home and get them acclimated!

Additional adoption info

When you've signed the paperwork, we will send you home with a coupon booklet that includes many PetSmart coupons including $5 a hard carrier if you need to purchase one as well as a free bag of food to go home with.
