Winnie is a gem! As her confidence has grown, her personality really has started to shine and we expect more is yet to come! Like all greyhounds Winnie loves nap time, but she especially loves a good zoomie in the backyard and will till your garden bed for free! Winnie does well on a leash but will occasionally get excited about small critters and birds. We haven’t seen any signs of sleep startle and Winnie is great around small kiddos who are respectful of a dogs’s space. Aside from meal time, Winnie’s favorite time of day is first thing when you wake up and this is when her true personality shines. She’s the silliest, wiggliest and most cuddly greyhound.
Winnie still needs a lift into the car and lots of encouragement, but we’ve seen progress and expect with exposure and time she’ll learn that car rides can take her to fun and exciting places!
Winnie would do well as an only dog with an active family. She’s also benefited from having a non-greyhound friend to show her the ropes and even likes to play.
