Meet Pretzel! 🥨

This cute little 2-3 year old Yorkie had a bit of a suspicious story and was likely passed around lately by irresponsible owners🤔 He’s a cute anxious little one, desperate to bond to someone and very needy and sweet once he does. So far he’s been non-aggressive if a little avoidant of other dogs. He seems like he’s been kept crated a lot and barks and spins in tight circles when confined. He likes walks and hanging with his people. 10lbs, neutered, updated on shots, and ready for a new more stable future. And yes, we quickly found out he does love soft pretzels 🥨 as a treat so he lives up to his name.

Since COVID-19, we are no longer holding our Sunday adoption events until further notice, but we are scheduling meet and greet appointments with a specific dog or dogs at our meeting spots in Northern NJ. We are a small all-volunteer organization focused on rescuing local dogs from area shelters, as well as accepting some surrenders and puppy mill rescues.
