My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Animal Profile: Huey is a 7 week old chihuahua who joined us on 09/20/2024. His mama Mimi was intercepted as a surrender to the packed San Bernardino shelter and was too far along to be spayed. We wanted her to have a safe place to have her babies and got her on a transport to us right away, she had other plans and had her babies on her way to us. Huey and his siblings are thriving in foster care and will be ready for their forever homes once they are 8 weeks old.

Foster Update: Huey is a darling puppy! He is playful, friendly, and full of wags and kisses.  He like to wrestle with his mom, siblings and a small resident dog in his foster home.

Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes spay/neuter, current core vaccinations per AVMA standards, negative heartworm test and microchip with lifetime registration. Adoption fees benefit all the animals in our rescue, and may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 non-profit organization.

Animal History: This dog was born on transport to Seattle from San Bernardino, where mom was originally rescued, and arrived to Seattle area foster care 9/20/24. This dog will be available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once 8 weeks old.
