My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bean is a sweet boy. He is just over 50 lbs and should not get any bigger.  We are guessing him to be between 1-2 yrs old.  He keeps his kennel area clean and may already be partially housetrained.  He loves attention and is playful.  He walks fairly well on leash.

He reacts fine to other dogs but should meet any new potential housemate(s). We do not know how he is around children or cats.

Anyone interested in him can stop in during our regular business hours to meet him and apply. Dogs do not go home the same day as meeting--we review applications first.

Please go out to our Facebook page and like it for daily/weekly updates.

More about this shelter

We are the Morrow County Dog Shelter, operated by the county.
Our shelter houses stray and homeless dogs from our county. We are a small shelter with an annual intake between 250-400 dogs. Some of our available dogs go through a prison training program if they qualify.
Our adoption fee includes all basic vet care and it is completed before a dog goes to his/her new home. An adoption application is necessary for all dogs prior to an adopter being chosen.
