Meet Meg, an adorable German Shepherd mix puppy who is ready to find her forever home! The shelter in Texas thinks she’s about 6 weeks old, but we suspect she may be a little older—though without her birth certificate, we’ll never know for sure!

Regardless of her exact age, one thing is clear: Meg is a sweet, loving pup who adores both people and other dogs. She’s a quick learner, already showing how smart and eager she is to pick up new tricks and tasks. With her natural intelligence and playful personality, Meg is sure to be a joy to train.

IMPORTANT: This dog has not yet been altered. SNARR requires a $150 deposit in addition to your adoption fee, as well as a strictly enforced Spay/Neuter Contract stating you will have this dog altered within 6 months of adoption. An application, agreement, personal reference check, vet reference check and home visit are required.

Adoption fees are below. All of our animals are microchipped, up to date on vaccines and fully vetted.

Puppies under 1 year : $495
Adults 1-9 years: $375
Adults 9+ years: $300
Special Needs Animals: dependant on specific animal and his or her needs

ADDITIONAL DEPOSIT of $125 for spay/ neuter for all unaltered dogs unless the spay/neuter

We are located at 46 Sodom Road, Brewster, NY. You can come stop by 7 days a week from 11am-4pm. While we have 15-18 dogs housed at our adoption center, the majority of our dogs are located in private foster homes.

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. We do focus on animals with special needs but we also rescue perfectly healthy dogs as well! SNARR works with municipal shelters all over the country to save animals at risk for being euthanized. Our dogs (and cats) are all in foster homes prior to being adopted.
