My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Courtesy Listing!

Ruth is a 10lb, spayed, 7 month-old Chihuahua/Terrier mix.  If you are a gentle patient and understanding human, then Ruth is your girl!

Ruth was born under a shed to a very sweet abandoned mama chihuahua mix who did a good job of keeping her little pups safe and warm. When mama and 2 week old puppies were discovered, we brought them to safety where they were raised in a loving foster home.

Ruth is incredibly cute, sugar sweet, super shy but gaining confidence day by day. She thrives on reassurance and positive praise. Ruth is super treat motivated. She loves belly rubs! Ruth gets pretty excited about her "sniffari" walks, loves her toys and chewies.

Her ideal family will be sensitive to her need to "go VERY slow and steady" and she could benefit from having a calm gentle dog to build her confidence and guide her. She likes to watch before doing and will stare right into your soul.
Ruth is crate trained and potty trained in her foster home but as with any new situation, dogs/puppies will have accidents as they learn their new environment and there will be an adjustment period.

Prior to adoption, all dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm, vaccinated (including rabies, if age appropriate) and microchipped.

This is a Courtesy Listing. Dot is being f ostered in Sunnyvale. Please email  K9reunite@gmail.com   for more info. Adoption fee $400.
