My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

4 Little Paws is helping a Texas Animal Shelter by featuring a few wonderful dogs who have been patiently waiting to find forever homes...

Meet Tiana, a pretty petite Pibble (pitbull) mix about 10 months old, and 38 lbs. She may be small-statured, but her heart is enormous and overflowing with love, and happiness! (see picture with another pitbull mix for size comparison)

Tiana’s beautiful tan and white coat glistening in the sun, large pointed ears ready to listen to the world around her, and expressive eyes sparkling with playful curiosity and gentle affection are just the beginnings of what makes her so captivating. What truly makes her stand out is her big and beautiful smile that lights up her whole face and reveals a joyful spirit!

Tiana loves, loves, loves other dogs, and has been an amazingly friendly girl with everyone she meets, often being our go-to for performing dog tests. She would love a home with an active dog that can entertain her as well as show her all the ways to be the bestest girl. She already knows the commands sit and lay down, is highly treat motivated, and is eager to learn and please. She is mostly potty trained, does well in a crate, loves chewing on toys, and enjoys meeting new people and making new doggy friends.

* 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.

Additional adoption info

Please DO NOT apply unless the entire family / household is on board with adopting one of our dogs. We must receive an application for you to move forward in the process. Thoughtful direct emails are welcome and will be answered. However, an application is still a necessary step. We want to make sure we find our dogs a perfect fit with a family so both the dog and the family are happy. We keep our dogs with fosters once we get them out of shelters for a little bit to learn and understand their personalities. Our relationship with families doesn't stop at adoption! We are always available for any follow up questions and are happy to be a resource as you and your new pet settle into a routine.
