Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Phoenix is a sweet, energetic, loving, and affectionate dog. He’s about 1.5 years old. He was severely neglected and abused by his previous owner, so he has severe anxiety and abandonment issues. He acts out when left alone. He loves snuggles and cuddles, no amount of affection is too much for him. He loves cats, kids, and other dogs, although with other male dogs he plays rough. But he’s always playing. He can’t wait to get out into a field with a ball and is just an incredible dog. I work 10 hours per day and he just deserves more than being in a kennel for a minimum of 50 hours per week. He can’t be left out alone, as he will chew and destroy things from his intense anxiety. He needs a home that understands who he is and what he’s dealing with. Someone who knows how much he needs and is not only willing, but excited to give it. I wish I didn’t have to give him up, but he isn’t happy and I can’t change my circumstances. He’s 68 pounds of love. He is neutered and up to date with shots
