Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Please email all inquiries to thecopaceticcat@yahoo.com. The Copacetic Cat is based in Darke County but offers initial meet and greet video chats through Facebook or Zoom.
Felix is a BIG boy, who enjoys being the center of attention. He openly asks for pets by standing on his back legs and reaching up for you. He loves to lick your hands and arms while you pet him! He rushes over to see what you’re doing and comes eagerly when he’s called. He is a super sweet boy with lots of personality. He loves playing and especially enjoys the laser pointer and a wand toy. When he was rescued from the side of the road as a 7-week-old kitten, he had noticeable kink in his tail. It didn’t seem to bother him, so it may have happened when he was smaller. Now, he carries his tail in a funny little arc over his back.
Felix does have some minor health issues: A heart murmur and Stomatitis. Though they are causing him no issues currently, the stomatitis may involve more trips to the vet than the average cat, as he gets older. (see Dr. note on his conditions)
His estimated birthdate is April 28, 2022. He’s been combo tested negative, vaccinated and neutered.
Felix would do best in a home with existing cats or to be adopted with one of his foster buddies. He's pretty fearless so he should be willing to adapt to a home with a dog and children, if introduced properly.

Additional adoption info
Adoption requirements include an application that tells us something about the adoptive family and authorizes us to contact the family's vet for references, a phone or in-person interview, and at the director's discretion, home visitation. We provide an adoption contract that lists the animal's current and anticipated health care and delineates the owner's and our responsibilities. Each kitten has a 2-week satisfaction guarantee which provides a full refund for animals returned within the 2-week time frame. Our typical adoption fees are $200 per Siamese Wannabe and $250 per Siamese mixes and Siamese and some others.

More about this rescue
We are a small, grass-roots volunteer effort dedicated to easing the problems faced by unwanted Siamese cats and kittens and their non-Siamese cousins. We use foster homes for our animals to provide them with a warm and loving environment from which to be adopted; we give all of our animals excellent vet care to ensure they have a good start in life. We offer education and advice on cat care and cat behavior issues; we provide courtesy listings for adoptable pets for free on our web site. We provide support to indigent owners (emergency food and vet care assistance) as we are able and offer advice and assistance on resolving landlord pet issues (including ADA therapy pet designation). We are dedicated to making life easier for the animals who love and trust us and look to us for their safety, security, and happiness. The problems are large and we are small but we try hard to make a difference for cats at risk.
