Hatch Date: Approx 2021
Stella is a sweet and gentle dark kiwi and yellow Budgie. She is estimated to be ~3-4 years old, but her exact age is unknown. She is believed to be female based on her cere color. She is looking for an adoptive home with another Budgie with whom she can play and bond.
She has been well loved and cared for since her first human died. Soon after, her bonded "husband" also passed. Since then she has been a solo bird enjoying the company of budgies on screen. It's true! She is loyal to her on-screen budgie friends and is very committed to her daily routine.
She wakes up and is uncovered at 7:15 AM, receives fresh water and a mix of seeds, egg protein and millet, watches her favorite live-stream bird videos and religiously reenters her cage at 9 PM for bedtime and to be covered.
While Stella is flighted and not hand-trained, she stays close to her cage and doesn't take long flights around the house, even with doors open between rooms.
Stella would do best in a new home with another female budgie or multiple budgies. She was very social and playful with her bonded pair.
Stella has been disease tested for psittacosis and PBFD,
