Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet Lola, a resilient 7-year-old, 24-pound Poodle with a heart as big as her smile! This sweet girl was found by a good Samaritan after a close call with a car, which sadly led to the loss of one eye. But don’t let that fool you—Lola’s spirit is as bright as ever, and she's bouncing back beautifully in her foster home!
Lola is great with the two other dogs in her foster family and good with the 2 kids (6 and 8) making her a wonderful companion for both people and pets. While she’s still a bit nervous on a leash and needs some gentle encouragement for stairs, she’s making progress each day, showing her brave and loving nature.
A bit of a couch potato at heart, Lola loves to lounge in her dog bed and nap while her humans hang out nearby. She’s happiest when she’s close to her people, often greeting them with full-body wiggles and plenty of affection. Once she’s fully healed, she’ll be working on shedding a few pounds for her health, but in the meantime, she's soaking up all the love and cozy moments she deserves. Lola would make the perfect addition to a family who can give her the comfort and support she needs to thrive.

PupStarz Rescue is an animal welfare group committed to the rescue and rehabilitation of dogs and cats in public shelters at high risk of euthanasia, as well as those in danger of abuse. We are committed to rescuing as many animals as possible, saving over 2,600 dogs and cats since 2015.
PupStarz Rescue is a foster-based rescue, relying on fosters to open their homes and lives to our Animals. Animals in our care receive proper medical care, including alteration, vaccinations, and microchipping.
Following a thorough screening, our animals are placed in loving, responsible, committed forever homes. PupStarz Rescue ensures that adoptions are an appropriate match for both the animal and their new family by educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a furry companion into their lives.
We are committed to the welfare of our "Starz" beyond the adoption process. We maintain open communication with our adopters to ensure a smooth transition, and offer additional support such as positive training techniques.
Founded in 2015, PupStarz Rescue is a non-profit, 501(c)3, no-kill, animal rescue organization.
