If you like dogs who shine, no matter the weather, how about Sable, a 70 lb, approximately 2-year old, Lab mix who’s the color of a polished penny. Caring community members found Sable abandoned in a parking lot & brought him to the shelter. Initially Sable was scared & uncertain, but quickly warmed up. Sable comes when called, loves chasing a ball, & plays well with other compatible shelter dogs. Although he may tug excitedly on leash at first, he settles down quickly & walks well on lead. It’s a mystery as to why this gorgeous hunk of a dog with a huggable head, athletic body, & goofy smile has not been adopted. He’s “air tight” house trained, neutered, and up to date on shots. This gentle, affectionate fellow is ready right now to be your kindred spirit on whatever adventures you imagine.
