Meet Morgan, the one-year-old German Shepherd who was given a second chance at life just in time! Rescued on her last day from the shelter, Morgan is now ready to embark on a new chapter filled with love and hope. This medium-sized girl, weighing in at 45 pounds, may be smaller than your typical shepherd, but she’s got a heart full of warmth and a personality that’s larger than life.

Morgan is incredibly friendly and makes fast friends wherever she goes. She’s dog-friendly and eager to please, although her interactions with cats remain a mystery for now. With her gentle demeanor and bright eyes, Morgan warms up to new people with ease, bringing smiles and tail wags to everyone she meets.

While she has minimal leash training at the moment, Morgan’s willingness to learn and her loving spirit make her a joy to work with. She’s up to date on all her vaccinations, ensuring she’s healthy and ready for her next adventure.

More about this rescue

Our mission is to save the lives of dogs facing euthanasia in high-kill shelters nationwide by pledging funds that enable rescues to take in, rehabilitate, and rehome animals in need. On occasion, if we do not have a local rescue in place in the city the dogs are in, we bring them to Illinois to avoid their euthanasia. They are placed in boarding for vetting, once done, they are promoted for fostering or adoption.
