Dog Name: Mazikeen

Sex: Female
Age: 1-2 years
Weight: 6 lbs

Good in the car: Yes
Good on a leash: Yes but has to use a harness. She is still recovering physically and emotionally from an embedded "collar".

Need a fenced in yard: Yes. Since she is still so skiddish, a home with a fence will give her the best opportunity to settle in and gain confidence.
Dog Friendly: Yes, but prefers them on the small and calm side.
If yes, does your foster need another dog in its adoptive homes? No
Cat Friendly? Unknown
Kid Friendly: No
If yes, what's the youngest child you'd recommend they be placed with? Teens and up only.
Special traits that make your foster special or that we need to know about them?
Mazikeen was dealt a poor hand in her life before coming to GRR. She had been left behind when her family moved away. But worst of all, she was left behind with a string for a collar that had become embedded in her neck . We don't know what other horrors she endured with that "family", but she is fearful and will snap when frightened. This is why she needs an adult only home.
Like most ladies, she can be bribed with cheese and compliments. The first days with her will be like 50 first dates where you'll have to remind her that she's safe and you're not going to hurt her. She'll soon realize what a safe and warm place your lap is and then you'll have to pry her away because she absolutely loves to snuggle. Being willing to just carry her around all day would really make all her dreams come true.
