My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Luffy, or affectionally known as Elliott. This guy was adopted when he was 10 weeks old and now he is a little over a year (14 months). He is a very active and energetic pup still but what the family has come to realize is, he does not enjoy living in a home full of kids or one with kids actively coming and going out of the home. He prefers to be in an adult only home with limited or no exposure to children. Their sudden and quick movements just don't seem to 'sit' well with Elliott. He does well with the resident dog of the home so one can assume he is dog friendly (a meet and greet would be required). We would like to assure Elliott's success with an adult only home. If you are interested in this young man, please complete an application! He is potty trained, crate trained and neutered!

We are foster based. You must apply on Crossyourpaws.com first. If your application is chosen as the best fit for the dog we will move forward with the approval process. Once approved you will be setup with a time to meet the dog. Our dogs are all over the greater Pittsburgh area.

Our decision to start a rescue is not one that we have taken lightly, it has come after years of volunteer work with other groups. Our goal is to make this world a place where starving, abused animals is a thing of the past. That shelters filled with dogs and cats waiting to be euthanized is unheard of. We want euthanasia to be something to help pets on their way to the Rainbow bridge not to end lives because of overpopulation. We vow to save every life that we can.
