Meet Hunter!
This kiddos came into rescue very underweight and with a horrible tapeworm infestation. He has spent the last few weeks getting healthy and putting on some much needed weight, but at 8-10 months he is still pretty small for his age. Despite being a little french fry right now, we do believe one day Hunter will be a whole potato! He is expected to be a tall skinny boy when full grown and is expected to be 50+ lbs.
Hunter can be shy when he first meets new people, but give him some treats and he's your new best friend. Once you win his heart he becomes a total velcro dog and love to snuggle up closely with his humans.
Hunter does sleep in his crate at night and when his foster family is not home, but he definitely doesn't love it & would much prefer sleeping snuggled up with his person. Hunter is about 80% potty trained with only occasional accidents (mostly because his foster mom is working and doesn't always hear his needing to go out downstairs). He loves to play with other dogs and did great with cats the few times he has met them.
If you would like the opportunity to meet his gorgeous boy, please visit our website for an adoption application! www.happyfeetpetrescue.com.
