My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ADOPT DEMI! 🐾

This sweet girl has a heart full of love and a gentle, affectionate nature that will melt anyone's heart. Demi absolutely adores her humans, and once she feels safe, she’ll become your loyal cuddle buddy, always ready to snuggle up and soak in all the petting you can give. 🥰

Although Demi might come across as a little shy in new situations, she just needs a little time and patience to adjust. With gentle encouragement, she’ll soon reveal her playful and loving personality. Once she feels comfortable, she’ll start exploring her surroundings, finding cozy spots to settle in, and seeking out her favorite toys for playtime. Demi especially loves chasing feather toys and going after the laser pen—watching her go after that little red dot is bound to bring a smile to your face! 🐾✨

Demi is a social butterfly when it comes to her feline friends. She truly enjoys the company of other cats and thrives in a multi-cat home where she can share her days with companions who appreciate her gentle, easygoing nature. 🐱🐾

** Demi needs a quiet, indoor-only home with plenty of room to run around, cat trees to climb on, and toys to play with. She needs a patient family who will give her lots of love, attention, and playtime. **

Demi does great with other cats after proper introductions. We aren’t sure how she is with dogs. She does well with respectful, older children, and she is litter box trained.

If you’re looking for a tender-hearted kitty who will love you deeply and brighten your days with gentle companionship, Demi could be your perfect match. 🐱❤️🏠

More about this rescue

Friends of Community-Cats Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit organization, with an incredible team of volunteers, dedicated to rescuing and saving the lives of cats and kittens whom are abandoned, neglected, sick, injured, unwanted or would otherwise be euthanized in shelters. We work with multiple shelters in Utah and are part of the Best Friends Animal Society Coalition aiming to make Utah a no-kill state.
We take in the abandoned, abused, unwanted, neglected, geriatric and neonatal, sick and injured and cats with severe behavioral problems. We get the cats medical care, rehabilitation and bring them back to health and prepare them for adoption. We have a great adoption program in which we spay/neuter, vaccinate and microchip the cats and kittens before placing them into loving, adoptive homes.
We participate in Trap-Neuter-Return for community cats. We provide food, shelters and medical care for more than 100 community cats daily. We also assist low income families with medical care and food for their animals.
We are 100% volunteer and foster based and rely on donations from the public to keep our organization running. We mostly focus on cats, however we do help other animals as well, such as dogs, small animals and livestock.
Our director, Kali Cristaudo, founded this organization in 2012. Since then, we have grown so much, formed an incredible team of volunteers and have saved thousands of lives and we will continue to save more and more lives every year.
