AC!

AC has been a wonderful companion to his owner since he was a puppy, but the veteran owner is frail from cancer and evicted from his home.  His owner loves him, wants the best for him which he is unable to provide and so he has asked us to list him for adoption through our rescue. 

AC is purebred GSD who is nearly 2 years old, without papers and has not been neutered.  We think he would make an excellent family pet as he is very friendly, and has been dog, cat and kid tested with no problems whatsoever.  He is housebroken and crate trained.  He has been to the veterinarian very recently and tested negative for heartworm and has been brought up to date with his shots- he's the best car buddy!   He has room for improvement with his training with respect to leash pulling and jumping up.  

Being strong advocates for the control of unwanted pets, we typically do not list pets for adoption until they are spayed and neutered.  However, given the circumstances we have chosen to make an exception.  AC is currently being cared for by the owner's son, who is also facing eviction and can't keep the dog much longer.  We are asking for a fully refundable adoption fee of $100 for AC- refundable with proof of neuter surgery.  We are also willing to transport him anywhere in the country for the right family.
